Shoulder Pain

About

Shoulder pain is discomfort or soreness in the shoulder joint area, often caused by various factors such as injury, overuse, or underlying medical conditions.

Causes
• Rotator cuff injuries. Bursitis, Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).
• Arthritis, Fractures or dislocations.
• Nerve compression (e.g., pinched nerves), Muscle strains.

Symptoms
• Pain or discomfort in the shoulder joint.
• Stiffness in the shoulder. Swelling or inflammation.
• Weakness in the affected arm. Clicking or popping sounds during movement, Numbness or tingling in the arm or hand.
• Difficulty lifting or carrying objects.

REMEDY 1
Epsom Salt Soak
• Relieves muscle soreness and reduces inflammation in the shoulder.

Ingredients
• Epsom salt, warm water.

Instructions
• Dissolve 1-2 cups of Epsom salt in a tub of warm water.

Guidelines
• Soak your shoulder in warm water with 1-2 cups of Epsom salt for 15-20 minutes, repeating as needed.

REMEDY 2
Ginger Compress
• Alleviates pain and improves blood circulation in the affected shoulder.

Ingredients
• Fresh ginger, hot water, cloth.

Instructions
• Grate ginger, steep in hot water for 10 minutes, soak cloth in the ginger-infused water

Guidelines
• Apply a cloth soaked in hot water infused with grated ginger to the painful area for 15-20 minutes.

REMEDY 3
Turmeric Milk
• Provides anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce shoulder pain and promote better sleep.

Ingredients
• Turmeric powder, Milk, Honey (optional)

Instructions
• Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder into a glass of warm milk. Add honey for taste

Guidelines
• Consume before bedtime.
